Comic Con @ WWF
At this year’s Comic Con in Vienna, Generation Earth was represented with an Eat4Change info Booth.
Moe, Nadja and Valentin from Generation Earth were on the road for the WWF project Eat4Change at the Vienna Comic Con 2022. There, the three talked to the visitors about the superpower we all possess: our food. By deciding what we eat, we can save the world.
This was illustrated, for example, by 5 large bags that represented the CO2 emissions of one kilo each of beef, chicken, cheese, beans or white cabbage. The visitors were then allowed to try to lift the bags. The beef caused some difficulties, as it produces 19.1 kg of CO2 per kilo – but everyone was able to lift the white cabbage with only 0.1 kg of CO2.
For the Generation Earth members, the two days at Comic Con were primarily associated with a lot of fun, but also the exciting conversations with the visitors about food, comics, climate, cartoons and cooking will certainly be remembered.
We hope to be there again next year!
