Let’s celebrate climate action!

We want to celebrate Earth Hour with you! The world’s largest climate protection campaign is designed to draw as much attention as possible to the topic of climate protection. However, we think that this is not all. The Earth Hour should be thought-provoking and, above all, it should motivate to act. Therefore we are inviting everyone to this years event to stand up for climate action!

When?

30 March 2019, 17:00 until 22:00

Where?

“Grüne Insel”, Nationalpark Camp Lobau. There will be a shuttle leaving from Wien Schwedenplatz at 16:15 for the event and drop you off at 23:00 at the same location.

What?

We celebrate life and nature and we invite you to join us for our Earth Hour celebration. Get closer to nature and be inspired by the exciting program we have prepared for you.

Program:

17:00 Arrival
17:30 Workshops
19:00 Dinner
20:00 Let yourself be inspired
20:30 Earth Hour with a campfire and a band

Workshops to choose from:

– Excursion to the Donau-Auen National Park with fictional TV coverage of various climate change scenarios
– Bee hotels
– Urban Wilderness

..and more will follow

Why?

The Earth Hour is the biggest symbolic climate campaign in the world in which millions of people show climate action by turning down their lights between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. local time. Each year it is accompanied by numerous actions. Find out more about the Earth Hour!

How much is it?

We are happy about a voluntary donation of 3€.
