Let’s talk about plastic – Plastic Workcamps

Let’s talk about plastic!

You want to meet like-minded people like you and raise your knowledge on the topic of plastic? Then this Workcamp is the right thing for you!

From 3. – 11.08.2019 international participants from all over the world will meet in Germany and spend their time with different activities.

The workshop will take place in a super cool mill in Giersleben, Germany. You will receive detailed information regarding the location once you applied.

During the day we will do simple tasks working outside or inside depending on the weather. Three workshops will take place about the topic of plastic. One with Anne Zeiß from WWF Jugend Germany. During the free time we plan a trip to Aschersleben – the oldest city in the area and there are bike available to explore the area! On the last day we are going to present what we have achieved to the local community.

Why? What is the goal?

The plastic problem is one of the most important issues we are facing. The participants of the workcamp and the member of the mill are gaining a better understanding of rural life in east Germany and are presented different actions how the could change habits of buying/ using plastic and integrate them in their daily life.
