The #nichtwurscht Challenge

The #nichtwurscht Challenge

Challenge yourself!

You care about the meat you eat? About your body and the climate as well? Then this is the right place for you! Become active and change your diet. Together we can change something. For our body, our well-being and our environment.

Challenge Factsheet

When? 6.03. – 20.04. 2019 (lateral entrants are always welcome!)
Who? Everyone who feels like it!
How? Only 1x meat per week
Why? To do something good for the body and the environment.
Because it is easier together.
Because it is a challenge.

Facts you need to know…

Nutrition can have an enormous influence on the ecological footprint. A person living in Austria has an average ecological footprint of 5.31 gha, 1.25 of which is due to diet. Thus, nutrition has a greater influence than physical activity.

Less meat could significantly reduce this footprint and would be good for the global climate as well. But not only that! Animals, fields and even groundwater benefit from it. At the same time, your body also enjoys a healthy diet.
For more information and opinions to the topic meat, as well as recipes and a meat councellor take a look here: www.fleisch-ist-uns-nicht-wurscht.at
