Walk4Wilderness: 3-6 July 2017

We are young, motivated nature fans, who are looking for adventure!

With our Generation Earth action project we experienced wild nature and got politically active at the same time. In a group of about 15 young people, plus some WWF experts, we took a 4- day hike in the Ybbstaler Alps (Austria). Through the hike, we raised awareness about natural areas in this region. Especially, we pushed for the enlargment of the nature protection area of Dürrenstein.

Together with environmentalists, journalists and photographers we made great experiences in “the wild,” and got politically active.
