Our projects make a difference!
With our action projects we want to make a difference, gain experience and make the world a better place. We want to protect nature, connect people with the earth, wake them up, get them active, and take action for our climate and future generations. The special thing about our projects is that they are almost entirely organized by us – young adult volunteers. Most often, we want to draw public attention to a topic or motivate people to get active with us. Some of our activities and campaigns on the other hand directly address the educational, political or economic sectors.
Our projects fall into the following categories:
- Action Projects: These are actions that last from a couple of hours up to a day or more (for example, a clean up, street theater, flashmob, video contest, etc).
- Action Days are multi-day events with a group of 10 to 20 young adults. They aim to combine adventure, nature, fun with an important environmental theme. At the Action Days, we get outside, experience nature and come up with new ideas to get active for the earth.
- With our international youth exchanges we connect young people from different countries and cultures to explore a topic, the environment, and nature protection. Our exchanges have taken place in Austria, Spain, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Italy.
- Our campaigns consist of several connected projects that include any number of the above categories. These have a specific target or goal to make change and then link actions together!
