Who financially supports Generation Earth?
We receive financial support from various sources (public and private); however, WWF-Austria is the biggest contributor to the youth program. Additional funding for international events (eg. Riverwalk, international youth exchanges) often comes in part from EU funding (eg. Erasmus+) while national events (eg. Action Days) may come from federal or state funding.
Several companies have also contributed “in kind” contributions to Generation Earth over the years.
Our members also contribute participant fees to many of the events and trainings; however, we attempt to keep the costs low to encourage participation and reduce barriers.
